About Us

My whole life I've been an enthusiast of all things planes. Did aerospace engineering for undergrad, and have spent lots of my career adjacent to aircraft. The whole idea of AviHats (Aviation Hats, get it!?) started with an internet search for some cool aviation gear. I couldn't find what I wanted. So I set out to create my own hat (you can actually find it in the store - it's called "The Mach 3" and it's an SR-71 hat).

Upon creating that design, I was like wait a minute....I should make these available for everyone.

I've since put my artistic skills to some use and set out to make cool designs of all sorts of aircraft. Most hats are silhouettes of some of our favorites, but I like to add my own flair as well, and I always get excited when folks suggest new designs! So feel free to shoot me a message and I'll try and get something added.

New designs are added pretty frequently, so hopefully you can find what you're looking for, and if not, well just ask!
