The Mad Dog. The MD-80 series of aircraft that started with the DC-9 and eventually evolved into the Boeing 717 (after a series of acquisitions of course!). This plane has been around a long time and is starting to be retired by many airlines. It's undoubtedly one of the most significant short-medium haul people carriers in passenger aviation history. We've tried to capture its silhouette with this hat.
